We are pleased to welcome TU Sofia with its Power System Stability Laboratory as a new member of the Current/OS Foundation.
TU-Sofia is the largest technical university in Bulgaria and has the highest accreditation grade for engineering specialties. The University is a leader in the field of electrical power and energy systems, renewable energy resources, nanotechnologies, virtual engineering, energy efficiency, engineering ecology, and engineering design and offers foreign language education in English, French, and German. It is in close collaboration with the industries. The laboratory base with modern equipment and qualified research staff provides high-quality scientific developments and experimental research. It has proven to be a university that sets educational standards and develops contemporary and innovative approaches for adequately responding to the fast-changing business environment.
According to assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Rad Stanev, Head of Power System Stability Laboratory the transition to a smarter future power and energy systems with DER, EV and Storage requires novel architecture which will adequately extend the existing network with efficient DC grids at all voltage levels. On this bright way ahead we walk together with Current/OS Foundation for promotion and adoption of active DC grids.
The Current/OS Foundation is extremely pleased to be strengthening its collaboration with TU Sofia.
